I’m an Italian Fashion Photographer based in Paris. I create innovative ad campaigns and luxurious editorials.
I was born in Naples and grew up using a Canon T60. I started studying analog photography in high school, spending most of my time developing film and printing in the darkroom even when I should have been in class!
Later, I drew my inspiration not only from well known photographers but also from classical painters and everything to do with storytelling through images.
I am fascinated by light and apply everything I’ve learned from photography to my work as a Lighting Director for 3D productions.
I was also able to draw on my knowledge of colour theory, colorimetry, composition, drawing, illustration when I worked as a Digital Painter for Walt Disney Studios.
Since I’m passionate about fashion, Paris seemed like the perfect place to dedicate myself full-time to fashion photography.
The city continues to afford me so many enriching experiences that I haven’t regretted the decision to settle here for even a second.
I’ve always been fascinated by photographers like Mario Testino for his ability to create interesting scenarios with style. The people in his pictures, particularly women, are never vulgar, they’re refined and above all he’s able to bring out their qualities. To me, Oliviero Toscani represents an artist whose strength is to be able to encompass topical and pressing debates in advertising campaigns that appeal to our social conscience.
I like also photographers like: Richard Avedon, Herb Ritts, Steven Meisel, Patrick Demarchelier, Nick Knight, Albert Watson, Mario Sorrenti, Steven Chauvrin, Mariano Vivanco, Greg Kadel, Hunter & Gatti.
